Our Story
The story of Vine to Vessel Vineyard started a few, short years ago in 2015 when God led us to a piece of land nestled in the Central Cascade Foothills. This picturesque, 17 acres had everything we had dreamed of, rolling hills, timber and a creek running through the heart of it. We quickly sold our home of 21 years where we happily raised our family and purchased this prized property. Little did we imagine the adventure it would take us on.
We began clearing the lower portion, creating a parklike area that has hosted many family and friend weddings and special events. It has been humbling to be able to use this gift to bless others as they begin their lives together.
In 2018, a dear family member suggested the idea of planting a vineyard on the upper half of our property. It didn’t take long, and we were tilling and preparing the ground to plant our Pinot Noir vines. With countless hours of help from family and friends, these plantings took root and flourished into our boutique vineyard. As time was drawing near to the third leaf in the vineyard, we began the search for a winemaker who would transform this lush fruit into what we knew would be beautiful wines. We were blessed to be given the name of Drew Voit, a distinguished and celebrated winemaker with 25 years of crafting terroir driven, small production wines.
Our first harvest came in September 2021, yielding an exceptional crop. Drew and his dedicated team did what only they can do, creating two very distinct and masterful wines from our first vintage.
